ENZYME TREATMENT

Each enzyme product Spa Bella uses is formulated with a combination of bromelain, papin and trypsin. Utilizing three different types of enzymes together in one product ensures a uniform, safe and effective exfoliating treatment that offers multiple benefits for the skin.

Bromelain is derived from pineapple and is an effective anti-inflammatory and kerotolytic agent. Papain is derived from papaya and works with the sulfhydryl group and is highly effective in removing keratin, a protein found in the cells of the outer layers of the skin. Trypsin is a synthetic bovine derivative that attacks specific proteins that glue the stratum corneum together.

COCOA ENZYME

This is a delightful treatment with soothing and calming properties. The enticing aroma of the pure cocoa makes it appealing as well as relaxing and effective. It is excellent for use on rosacea, acne and sensitive skin. It calms redness while gently exfoliating. It is excellent for use prior to extractions and can be used between SWiCH treatments as well.

RASBERRY ENZYME

This raspberry enhanced enzyme with a light and refreshing berry scent has multiple benefits. It removes keratin build up and enhances the skin’s radiance. It is great for use of sun-damaged skin. It is also excellent between SWiCH treatments when dealing with hyperpigmentation.

ZYMASE ENZYME

This enzyme is appropriate for use on most skin types. It too removes keratin build-up and helps brighten the skin. It is the strongest of the three enzymes and is especially effective on photo-damaged and thicker skin types.
